Architecture of a Farmhouse: The Pearl S. Buck House
An homage to early American colonial stonework and design, the brand-new Pearl S. Buck House ‘Architecture of a Farmhouse’ exhibit explores the structural features of the circa 1825 stone farmhouse that Pearl S. Buck called home for nearly 40 years. The historic Pearl S. Buck House boasts a unique mix of period styles and compositions, reflecting the additions made by Ms. Buck in order to accommodate the evolving needs of her large family. A portion of the exhibit will also demonstrate the current restoration of the Pearl S. Buck House. |
